U10 Rogers Rockets v Queen’s College, Taunton

Score: 0-3 to Queen’s College

Captain: Maisie Warner

Player of Match: Willow Williams (nominated by Queen’s)

For the first half, the match went well. Wells won the toss and chose to start with the ball. Everyone played well and worked together as a team. Caitlin Field made some great passes out to the wing, Heidi Ashton had good determination and tackled the opposition well whilst En Xuan Tan and Maisie Warner defended the goal with confidence. Dior Adekola kept playing even though her knee was sore. Willow Williams was a great help on the left-wing and kept running up the field attempting to score goals but Queens scored the first goal leaving the score at half time 0-1 to Taunton.

In the second half, Wells kept trying and Heidi was unlucky not to score. Queen’s scored two more goals towards the end of the game. Lulu Matthews was a great goalie and made loads of saves. All in all, it was a great game and everyone should be proud of their effort. Well played team.

U10 Hockey Super Swarf’s v Queen’s College, Taunton

Captain: Lulu Matthews

Final Score: 0-1 to Queens

Player of the Match: Lulu Matthews

We had a very exciting match against Queens College and the match was played with a very nice team spirit. At the beginning, we had Tohar Westwell on the right-wing and Maisie Warner on the left-wing. There was some great tackling by Isabella Blake and Maddie Dunn in defence. Anouk Brindle playing centre forward and Lily Clare playing centre mid and Lulu Matthews playing in goal. Some amazing hits from Isabella Blake and Heidi Ashton who subbed on for Tohar in the second half. Also, credit to Queens College as they got the only goal of the match and also did some good tackles but even though we didn’t get one past their goalie we had a good few attempts.
